Gerard Minack
Gerard is an Investment Strategist and an independent member of Altair’s Investment Committee. He looks at major asset classes across global regions, focussing on the fundamental factors that usually drive investment performance: valuation, currency, monetary policy and economic growth.
Gerard has been analysing, forecasting and advising on financial markets since 1987. He runs his own consultancy firm, Minack Advisors, which provides fundamentally-based research on financial markets for institutional investors around the world. Gerard also engages regularly with the media providing insight into financial markets.
During his career Gerard worked at Morgan Stanley as a global cross-asset strategist and global developed market equity strategist, and before that at ABN AMRO, BZW and Syntec Economic Services.
